My name is Janneke. After my law studies I traveled all over Central and South America and I also lived abroad for 3 years. Traveling was fantastic, but at a certain point I missed the Netherlands and decided to go back. I then worked for a while as a lawyer in the legal department of a hospital. After a few other jobs and some extra life experience, I found obstetrics much more interesting.

With the idea that you are never too old to learn, I am now studying for midwife. I also have just given birth to a girl myself. As an assistant in Geboortecentrum Zaanstad I really enjoy talking to you, mothers-to-be, on the phone or at the desk. See you soon!
