Many contraception options
Our whole permanent team (Marijke, Ismay, Femke and Janine) are the specialists in this area. During a consultation, we’ll discuss the various options, and there are plenty! Think about the contraceptive pill, IUD, Implanon, condoms and more. We can insert the IUD or Implanon for you. For the IUD, you can visit any of the four of us, while an Implanon is placed by Ismay or Femke. Inserting with us meaning you won’t need to visit your GP or the hospital. This allows you to arrange this in a familiar and comfortable setting. And, it’s also financially beneficial, as you won’t need to pay the excess charge that often applies to hospital referrals. Oh, and a lovely fact: since 2025, your health insurance covers the contraception consultation with a midwife. So be sure to visit us soon!
