Obstetric care and ultrasound services: all in one place
At Geboortecentrum Zaanstad, it’s all about you, your pregnancy, and your family. You can visit us for all obstetric care services and ultrasound scans. All located in the same building —how convenient is that? Oh, and something else that makes us unique: we really get to know you and your partner. Time and attention—that’s what we stand for. Our area includes Zaanstreek and surrounding areas, such as Landsmeer, Oostzaan, Wormer, Wijdewormer, and parts of Purmerend. Do you live outside this region but still want us to be your midwife? Contact us to discuss the possibilities. For ultrasounds and contraception, you can visit us from anywhere in the Netherlands. Even if you’re coming from abroad, you’re welcome here. In this case, however, you will need to pay the invoice yourself (which you can submit to your own foreign insurance provider).

Pregnancy
Your pregnancy is unique, just like our care. From the first ultrasound to the final check-up, we’re here for you with involved and personal guidance.
Delivery and postpartum period
Your delivery, your choices. We support you, so that you can welcome your child into the world with confidence. We're also here for you during the first weeks after your delivery.
Miscarriage support
Unfortunately, not all pregnancies end well; about 10 to 15 percent will end in a miscarriage. You don’t have to do this alone, we will guide you.
Contraception
Whether it’s the pill or an IUD, we offer various forms of contraception. Together, we’ll discuss what suits you best.
Preconception care
Would you wish to get pregnant? We’ll tell you everything you need to know to increase your chances of a healthy pregnancy.
Ultrasounds
We offer both medical and non-medical ultrasounds. Even if you're not under our care, you’re welcome to book an appointment with us.
